What an absolutely fantastic result for our 1^st Division Ladies in not only winning promotion to One White but also winning the flag for our club.

Having watched the 3 games played over Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday all we can say is the ladies did us proud and although they just lost the first play-off, which was only lost on an extra end as scores were level after 21 ends, they fought back magnificently on Tuesday to demolish Rossmoyne.

After a tremendous effort over 3 days the ladies are proud to announce their winning of the pennant flag - the last time this was achieved in first division was over 38 years ago.

The ladies wish to thank all who supported them over the three days.  It was so good to have fellow bowlers there to cheer us on ,and a huge thanks to our coach Brian.  We will continue to keep up the good work next season.

If they win they are in the final at Osborne Park on Wednesday morning.  If they lose they will have a second chance, playing on Tuesday morning at the Club

Well done to June Edwards, Colette Smith and Barbara Hadley on achieving equal third position in this event.  Having never played as a team before and this being their first foray into a state game, this was an excellent result.
