Our beloved Angela Booth passed away on Monday February 3rd, 2014

The funeral will take place at 2.00pm on Monday February 10th at Fremantle Cemetery.  There will be a “Guard of Honour” formed by  members who wish to participate.  Please wear Club Uniforms if attending.

Arrive at 6:00 pm – Free Sausage sizzle at 6.30 pm – Bowls start at 7:00 pm

Tuition and Guidance: Free bowls tuition will be available between 5.30 and 6.30 on each playing evening

The annual grudge match is on again.  The banter has already started.  As put to me by one of their number when we were discussing the prospects of a yet to be decided club nickname - 'I know,' he says, 'the Mighty Mount Pleasant Pheasants versus the Fearsome Firefighting Pheasant Pluckers.'  Yeah that'd be right!.  It's a fun day and you are all invited.  We hope to field at least 30 Mount Pleasant bowlers.  An entry sheet is on the notice board.  Put your name down and join in the fun.

Thanks to the efforts of Steve Nankiville, Angela Booth, Jeff Rudland and Kath Eaton we now have a brand new snooker table.

It has been installed and is receiving very favorable performance reports from our team of experts.

Along with the new carpet, the club environment is very comforting for a game of snooker.

Get down to the club and enjoy a pleasant game with your friends for $1 a game, and have a drink at club prices.

We organise and promote several competitions during the year mixing both sexes.

New faces are always welcome.

The “BANKERS” of the Mt. Pleasant Bowling Club celebrated their annual Christmas luncheon on Thursday 12^thDecember at the Club.

Present were 27 0f the regulars who were able to attend the function. This was once again organised by Max Sheppard and Ron Wrightson, with some assistance from the other regulars.
