At his recent celebration at the Club Ernie was presented with a Honorary Life Membership to the HMAS Canberra - HMAS Shropshire Association. "The Association proudly acknowledges Ernie Rudland for his steadfast lifetime commitment to his shipmates that he served with on HMAS Canberra during World War 2 and his service to the Royal Australian Navy and his Country in addition to his highly valued support of the WA Division of the Association.
