Social members get the opportunity to enjoy the facilities of the club, attend social functions and learn to play bowls. A social bowling membership costs just $50 until August 31 and allows members to enjoy all of the above, plus take part in social and winter bowling competitions.

Monday workers – Willing workers are needed on Monday morning to help with a variety of jobs around the clubhouse. There’s some signs that need installed, brick paving that needs repaired, windows to be cleaned etc. Or there’s plenty of work in the garden if you are more a green thumb than a handyman. The work begins from 8.30am.

Lamb tasting – Congratulations to all the volunteers who attended the lamb tasting at the club on Wednesday, February 7. Your eating efforts earned the club $1000.

Ladies’ fashion parade – The club held a fun-filled event at the Ladies’ Fashion Parade presented by Kimbo’s Fashion on Monday, January 15. The $15 cost included afternoon tea and all purchases made on the day attracted a 10 per cent discount.

Ham raffles – It’s the perfect time to win a ham, so why not buy a raffle ticket at the club. Every time a book of 60 is sold, three winners are drawn. Tickets are just $2 and you can get them at the bar. Remember to write down your name and phone number so we can contact you if you are a winner.
