$1100 winner

Congratulations to Sandy Chant, who picked the Ace of Hearts and won herself a cool $1100 in Chase the Ace on Friday night. Needless to say, Sandy was over the moon with her win.

Congratulations to Tom and Dee Maras, who won the mixed pairs championships in a close contest with Geoff Pinkus and Sally Thomson. Pat and John won the plate from runners-up Pat and Nancy.

Friday night food

Enjoy a delicious meal at the club every Friday night, with a great selection of food from Bridget’s menu and kids’ meals for just $12, which come with a free ice-cream. Happy hour starts after 5pm and there’s Chase the Ace, raffles and the lucky member’s draw.

Wednesday scroungers offer a great opportunity for both beginners and experienced players to enjoy bowls in a fun and social setting. Christmas bowls

There will be two drawn bowls game (popsticks) on C Green over the Christmas-New Year break. The first is on Thursday, December 21. Register at 12.30pm for a 1pm start. There is also a game on Tuesday, January 2. Register at 12.30pm for a 1pm start.

Holiday hours

Please note that the club will be open on Friday, December 22, but will then close on Saturday, December 23, for the Christmas and New Year period. The club will reopen on Tuesday, January 2. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our members.

Congratulations to the winners in our Giant Christmas Raffle, which was drawn at the club on Friday, December 9. First prize went to Beryl Smith and Ray Toey claimed the second prize.
