Melbourne Cup

Get your tickets now for the club’s Melbourne Cup lunch on Tuesday, November 5. The day features a two-course buffet lunch, sweeps, bets, raffles and prizes for the best dressed lady and gent. The Mt Pleasant ladies are hosting their annual fashion parade brought to you by Kimbos Fashions Willetton, on Monday 14th October 2024, at 1.00 pm. Tickets available at the bar, $15 each which includes afternoon tea, tables of 8.

Wednesday scroungers

Wednesday scroungers offer a great opportunity for both beginners and experienced players to enjoy bowls in a fun and social setting. Congratulations to our latest championship event winners. Howard Richardson and Greg Samson won the men’s pairs and Gail Worley and Mary Thomas won the ladies’ pairs.

Christmas bowls

There will be two drawn bowls game (popsticks) on C Green over the Christmas-New Year break. The first is on Thursday, December 21. Register at 12.30pm for a 1pm start. There is also a game on Tuesday, January 2. Register at 12.30pm for a 1pm start.

Holiday hours

Please note that the club will be open on Friday, December 22, but will then close on Saturday, December 23, for the Christmas and New Year period. The club will reopen on Tuesday, January 2. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our members.
